Why Your Aircon Blows Warm Instead of Cool

Warm Air Checks Before You Ring
A few safe checks rule out the simple causes and save you a call-out. None of them involve opening a panel or touching wiring:
- Confirm the remote is on cooling with the set point well below room temperature.
- Pull the filter and hold it to the light; if you cannot see through it, clean or replace it.
- Look at the outdoor unit for ice on the pipes or a fan that has stopped spinning.
- Switch the system off at the wall if the coil is icing, and leave it off.
